Duat is the underworld or world of the dead to the Egyptians. So, in short, the title is ‘out of the underworld,’ or ‘out of hell,’ or, ‘out of where the dead folk roam,’ but that didn’t really capture the feel of death, despair, and desperate romance (three very important ‘D’ things, right there).
